About Cindy Holland and shecreates

Upon completing my Advertising diploma in 2004, I worked for 2 years as a full time graphic designer for a small but ambitious sign company in Kitchener Ontario, while also doing a bit of freelance on the side. From there I work full time as a Marketing Coordinator for a larger furniture retail chain, again continuing to freelance on the side.

It wasn't until my husband proposed to me in 2005 that I found my true calling - weddings. There was no chance of me picking an invitation out of a book from a box store... So, I set out to design my own, outsourced the printing, and searched far and wide for an envelope supplier that carried the colour and low quantities that I was looking for. That that was all the advertisement I needed to open shecreates on a part time basis.

From there on out I helped my cousins, friends and their friends create the perfect wedding invitations, after four years and countless happy brides, I decided not to return to the workforce after maternity leave was over instead I began to focus on shecreates as a full time career. Not many people can say they love their jobs, I can, however. Every day!

My Philosophy

I am passionate about what I do. I work tirelessly to ensure that my work meets my high standards. This way I not only satisfy my own creative needs but, more importantly my clients.

I would love to schedule a consultation with you in person or over the phone to discuss your initial ideas.  This is where I get to know you, find out what what your looking for, what kind of budget you have and explore all design possibilities. Once this consultation is complete I start the design process of coming up with some creative ideas that I think will suite you.
